How To Make Green Toothpaste

Going green should not be a decision that coincides with buying more. Think of those 3 keywords they drilled into your head in elementary school reduce, reuse, recycle. The last time I checked reduce meant using less, not consuming more. With that said why not use some of the products you have lying around the house to make something useful like toothpaste? Besides isn’t it time you brush your teeth?

If you live in a big city the air you breathe while outside maybe as detrimental to your health as trying to land that handstand on your new Sustainable Skateboard. What you didn’t know is that the air you breathe while inside your own home maybe even worse, 10 times as worse! That’s because microbial pollutants like mold, pet dander, and plant pollen can combine with chemicals like radon to create something even nastier then that pile of Poop In Your Backyard. These toxic particles floating around by your toothbrush can lead to allergies, asthma, and even AIDS! OK so not AIDS but still some pretty nasty stuff.

Where Does This Stuff Come From?

Anything you bring into your home can be potentially harmful to your health. The bad part is our modern airtight homes don’t allow these nasty critters to escape. Starting with the basement I’ll show you were these nasties hang out and how to get rid of them.
