We Want Your Feedback
March 22nd, 2008
My recent post How To Make Green Toothpaste has received a considerable amount of traffic. It even made its way on to the cover page of diy dot com. After looking at readers responses across this site and others my question to you is would you ever consider making your own tooth paste, or Cleaning Products, or even Composting Your Poop to minimize your impact on the environment?

Hey!
Thanks for your contact us form. I *LOVE* your blog; it’s very entertaining and I’m learning a lot
Would I *consider* making toothpaste of cleaning products? Why I am Mrs. Green clean herself
I would compost my poop too but that is only because I’m a free range, organic chick - I wouldn’t want the majority of fast-food eating, caffeine-drinking poop in my compost that ye very much.
I must go and read the post, because I’m not sure how composting it would minimise my impact on the environment; unless you’re talking about the water used for flushing.
I think one of the biggies to deal with regarding making cleaning products is the brainwashing that we need one hundred and one different products for each micromilimetre of our homes. Bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) and white vinegar will do pretty much most basic jobs from cleaning the bath to mopping the floor.
Well, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Have a wonder-full day filled with love,
Mrs Green x
